            DJIBOUTI     SOMAGEC, a Moroccan port and maritime
                         infrastructure company, will support efforts
                         to establish an oil-refining and petrochemi-
                         cal complex at the Damerjog Industrial Park
                         (DDIP) in Djibouti by building a new storage
                         terminal.
                           According to press reports, the Moroccan
                         company recently signed an agreement on the
                         construction of the facility with the Djibouti
                         Ports and Free Zones Authority (DPFZA). The
                         two sides finalised the deal on April 5, at a sign-
                         ing ceremony attended by DPFZA president
                         Aboubaker Omar Hadi and SOMAGEC’s CEO
