Closer ties

Sovico has signed a co-operation agreement with Japan’s JERA to explore
opportunities for the supply of LNG to planned power plants in Vietnam.

State-owned Sinopec has forecast a recovery in oil demand across China in
the coming weeks and an increase by the end of the year.
Revenue rises
Australia’s Origin Energy has said revenue from its stake in the Australia
Pacific LNG project had risen by 78% year on year in the last quarter.
