5.2.1 Import/export dynamics
There was very little change in Russia’s trade breakdown between March and May . China’s share of imports crept up slightly to 24% of the total as by far Russia’s most important trade partner, while the volume in money terms for Chinese imports also went up slightly from $51bn to $53bn.
From the export products again minerals dominate with 50% that was unchanged between March and May, whereas the money volume of mineral exports crept up slight from $205bn to $213bn.
