Expansion sanctioned
Australia’s Woodside has reached final investment decisions for both the
Scarborough gas field and the expansion of the Pluto LNG facility.
Surging trade
The global LNG trade is booming ahead of the Northern Hemisphere winter,
with Asia’s leading buyers ramping up deliveries.
Progress
Cheniere Energy has produced its first LNG at Train 6 of its Sabine Pass
liquefaction terminal, and has also struck a long-term supply deal.
New dividend
The Novatek-led Yamal LNG terminal is expected to pay its first ever
dividend for the first nine months of this year.
