OPEC makes 2mn bpd cut
The OPEC has announced a 2mn barrel-per-day oil production cut, much to the
anger of the US and other Western buyers.
Still no EU gas price in sight
EU member states are still struggling to reach any consensus on introducing a
price cap on gas supplies.
Russian oil heads east via rail
Russian oil exporters have started using rail to send their crude eastwards,
amid an incoming EU embargo and limited pipeline capacity.
New Uzbek energy minister
Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov has been appointed Uzbekistan's new enery
minister.
