4.4.2  Nominal wages dynamics
Ukraine’s average monthly wage, as measured in dollars, has doubled in three years, to $380 , Prime Minister Groysman said. The minimum wage, received by a minority of workers, has tripled, from $50 in 2016 to $150 today. He said: “The current size is not big, but we are moving forward.”
Ukraine real wage growth accelerates to 11% y/y in February.  Real wages in Ukraine grew 10.7% y/y in February, accelerating from a 9.5% y/y January advance, the State Statistics Service reported on March 28.
The average monthly nominal wage amounted to UAH9,429 a month ($347), increasing from UAH9,223 in January, or 1.7% m/m in real terms.
The leading regions for average monthly wages remained the city of Kyiv (UAH14,513), the Ukrainian-controlled Donetsk region (UAH10,512) and the Kyiv region (UAH9,812). The largest nominal average wage growth was in science and technology activities (37% y/y), financial and insurance activities (26% y/y) and construction (26% y/y). Within the industrial sector, the highest nominal wages were in pharmaceuticals (UAH18,829), mining (UAH13,585), and electricity and natural gas supply (UAH12,310). Evgeniya Akhtyrko:
