Ukraine's largest steelmaker Metinvest reported Ebitda of $155mn in January, an increase of 17% month-on-month, a ccording to monthly results published on March 31. The revenue of the company controlled by billionaire Rinat Akhmetov grew 19% m/m and 49% year-on-year to $598mn in January. Net operating cash flow before working capital change was $120mn, or a 49% m/m rise. Its cash flow from operations decreased 15% m/m to $35mn in January, after the company recorded $57mn in working capital investments during the month (compared with $7mn in December). The holding's CapEx declined 60% m/m to $34mn. Its cash inflow from financial activities decreased to $19mn. The company's end-January cash balance increased 10% m/m to $248mn.
