5.3 FDI
Over the last three years, the number of companies with foreign participation in Russia has significantly decreased - by 40%, to 28,400, according to data from SKB Kontur. At the same time, the overall drop in the number of registered legal entities during this period was half as much - 22%. The drop in the share of foreign presence in Russian Business is explained by the outflow of capital from the country, the authorities' campaign for deoffshorization, sanctions and large international companies' investment programs during the pandemic.
6.0 Public Sector 6.1 Budget
The Russian government has approved the Ministry of Finance's (MinFin) budget for 2022-24, and the bill was submitted to the Dumay on October 1. However, some details have been made public.
