     Coal reserves at thermal power plants increased by 12.5%. On december 7 the Ukraine coal reserves in the warehouses of thermal power plants (TPPs) amount to 414.9 thousand tons, which is 12.5% more than the reserves on November 29, Ukrenergo reports. The total reserves of coal in thermal power plants are 414.9 thousand tons, reserves of gas 318.9 thousand tons, reserves of anthracite - 96 thousand tons.
International consultants, Mott MacDonald and Electricité de France to inspect the reconstruction of Ukrainian hydropower plants, announced Ukrgidroenergo. The consultancy work will be carried out under the Ukrhydroenergo project "Rehabilitation of Hydropower Plants". It is noted that the specialists of the monitoring mission visited Kaniv HPP, Kremenchuk HPP, Middle Dnieper HPP, Dnipro HPP-1, and Dnipro HPP-2, as well as Kyiv PSP. The Hydropower Rehabilitation project aims to extend the life of hydropower plants by 30-40 years, increase the capacity of existing hydropower plants, and increase the safety of the operation of equipment and facilities.
Electricity imports in November were 1.8 times higher than exports. In November, electricity exports decreased by 46.8% to 131.2mn kWh, while imports were 242.2mn kWh. The total volume of electricity imports in November 2021 was 242.2mn kWh, which is 1.8 times more than exports. Exports from the island of Burshtyn TPP decreased by 31.8% to 130.4mn kWh. The most significant decrease in supplies occurred to Slovakia, by 53.2%. Exports to Romania decreased by 37.8%, and to Hungary by 20.1%, reported Ukrenergo.

    Ukraine’s steel production is up by 5%. In the period January to November 2021, Ukraine’s steel production grew by 5.0% compared with the same period last year. In January-November 2021, Ukraine produced 19.44mn tonnes of pig iron (up 4.6% from the same period in 2020), 19.64mn tonnes of steel (up 5.0%), and 17.55mn tonnes of rolled metal (up 5.0%).
Pipe production has increased in Ukraine. In January-November 2021, the Ukrtruboprom enterprises produced 649.1 thousand tonnes of pipe products, which is 31.5% more than in the same period last year. The positive dynamics are demonstrated by Interpipe Nico Tube with a 98.8% production increase and Trubostal with a 16.7% increase. At the same time, Centravis reduced the production of stainless-steel pipes by 4.2%, Interpipe NMTZ reduced the production of electric welding pipes by 28.5%. In November 2021, the enterprises that are members of the Ukrtruboprom association increased output by 51.6% compared to the same period last year, to 69.7 thousand tonnes, reported the association's website.
