Moscow Domodedovo Airport will have to postpone the launch of a new terminal by at least a year, Vedomosti daily reported on July 23. As reported by bne IntelliNews, other largest Russian airports such as Sheremetyevo and Pulkovo have also announced capacity expan- sion plans.
The T-2 terminal in Domodedovo, with a total area of 0.24mn square metres, was built ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2018, but was shut down after only one month of operation. For over a year the terminal has remained non-operational.
