Russia's Tele2 tests new sim card technology
The Russian mobile phone operator Tele2 is running an experiment for eSim, a new generation of sim card technology for mobile phones.
The experiment has been sanctioned by the country's communications ministry, Vedomosti business daily reported, quoting deputy communication minister Oleg Ivanov as saying that up to 15,000 Tele2 subscribers will take part in the test run.
