Indonesia’s oil and gas regulator has approved plans for Tangguh LNG
involving the development of a natural gas field and a carbon capture project.
Import capacity
Extra LNG could help Italy make its energy cleaner and cheaper, especially
given difficulties in developing more renewable energy.
Revival hopes
The African Development Bank has expressed hopes that TotalEnergies will
be able to resume work on the Mozambique LNG in about 12-18 months.

Japanese oil and gas developer Inpex has announced two new carbon-neutral
natural gas supply agreements with Shizuoka Gas and Iruma Gas.
