Nigeria provides refining update
Updates have been provided at both extremes of Nigerian efforts to
reinvigorate the country’s dilapidated refining sector.
Japan firms up Basra funding
Japan this week formalised a previous agreement to provide a low-interest
loan to Iraq for the Basra Refinery Upgrading Project (BRUP).
MIDOR on schedule
Work to expand capacity at Egypt’s MIDOR refinery is on schedule, with
early operations set to begin by the end of the year ahead of full completion.
Kuwait’s LNGI ready in 1Q22
Kuwait’s Al-Zour LNG import (LNGI) terminal is expected to be completed
by the end of Q1 next year.
