Stepping up
The US has taken further steps to help send more LNG to Europe, though its
capacity to significantly ramp up exports of the fuel remains limited.

UTM Offshore expects to sign a front-end engineering and design contract
for its floating LNG project in Nigeria sometime in April.
Supply sources
Germany is turning to Qatar for LNG as it pivots away from Russian natural
gas in the wake of the war in Ukraine.
Permission to restart
Australia’s offshore regulator has given approval to Shell to restart its Prelude
floating LNG vessel, which has been offline since late 2021.
