Greek gas
Greece is developing significantly more gas import capacity than it needs, in
order to establish itself as a gas hub for the region.
US dominance
The US is set to have the world’s largest LNG export capacity by the end of
2022, following the start-ups of Sabine Pass Train 6 and Calcasieu Pass.
Prelude outage
Royal Dutch Shell suspended operations at its Prelude floating LNG facility
offshore Western Australia after a fire broke out on the vessel last week.
Supply deals
QatarEnergy this week signed its eighth and ninth LNG supply deals of the
year and its first two since rebranding from Qatar Petroleum.
