Naira hopes pinned on Dangote
Nigeria’s Central Bank has once again pinned its hopes on the Dangote
Refinery to ease the country’s foreign exchange crisis.
Kuwait refinery fire
An explosion and fire took place at Kuwait’s Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery this
week, injuring several workers but did not have an impact on operations.
ADNOC scraps more refining plans
ADNOC is reported to have scrapped plans for a project to overhaul and
expand its Ruwais refinery following last week’s cancellation of a new facility.
A new ADU for Assiut
An MoU has been signed for the development of a new atmospheric
distillation unit (ADU) at Egypt’s Assiut refinery.
