-About The Cover
In 1979 Bob Batson started building custom fising rods at his home in Maui under his
Phantom Custom Rods label. Local artist JBoy Crispin created the original artwork proudly
shown on the cover of this Silver Anniversary Master Catalog 45 years later. We hope Bob
is smiling down on the Batson Team, and what his vision has become.
