series, an after-hours show-
case at The Dragonfly Art For

feature sporadic evenings

highlighting world music. The
premiere concert is coming
up fast, on Wednesday Janu-
ary 4. NAKARAT is a San Fran-
cisco-based duo featuring
Duygu Gun on guitars and vo-

cals and Jonathan Kipp on ac-
cordion. Their music is a vi-
brant, emotional melange of
folk songs in Turkish, Ladino,
Greek, Griko, and Italian. A
Mediterranean breeze with
spicy nomadic tunes from the
