I thought it was impossible, I thought I wouldn’t bare, here I am, out of a place that belongs
to my heart and will continue to. In school I cherished the best memories, in school I laughed
with the teachers, in school I made the best relationships with people that have one of the
biggest places in my heart, in school is where I had all my mental breakdowns, yet I am
extremely proud of my accomplishments throughout one of the biggest journeys of my life.
Thank you for the thousands of lectures about my loud voice, thank you for my friends for
always motivating me and having my back at the darkest times, thank you for my classmates
who insisted on helping me late at night before exams, thank you for my family that have
continued to believe in my capability and continued to show support in every step of the
way. The thought of leaving Choueifat is mind-blowing. Choueifat, thank you for this crazy
journey, best time of my life.

Although I don’t feel it (and it doesn’t show on me) I finally reached the year I’ve been waiting
for so long- and it’s the definition of bittersweet. I can’t wait for what lays ahead, but at
the same time I’m looking back nostalgically on our primary music shows, our yearly trips,
and generally our endless memories growing up together. It hits hard that we’re leaving
soon, and even the stressful times now seem to be intertwined with the best ones to make
everlasting memories. We’ve made it this far, let’s go seniors 20!!
