I have just finished my first term of senior year; what felt like an emotional rollercoaster ended up
flying past me like a bullet train and leaving me with a tinge of bitter-sweet hope and memories to last
a cross country bus trip (in other words, a lifetime and a half). Over this short period of time, I have
realised that a lot is worth fighting for. Carpe diem is a line I hold close; I give each day a kick and
a smile. Despite every triumph life throws at me, I have not managed to merely survive, but flourish
under any circumstance. I appreciate that I have been able to meet the people that I did and I would
like to thank my brother and sister for always being there for me. At Choueifat, I have not merely
made friends, but found family that would be there for eternity.
