Our Mission at ISC Dubai

You may have noticed our new slogan posted up
around the school. Here at ISC Dubai, we want all
AN ISC-DUBAI SCHOOLWIDE DIRECTIVE of our students, staff and parents to understand
how ‘Manners Maketh Man’ and how we can all
apply this lesson to our daily lives.

Some of us seem to think that manners were very
common in the good old days. Why have they
disappeared from our midst? A few generations
ago, courtesy was enforced in society. Children
were taught good manners in school and teachers
ensured that their students would abide by them.
Returning back to school after lengthy pandemic
lockdowns has been difficult for all of us. Our
awareness campaign aims to highlight and teach
the fundamentals of basic human manners.
A key skill that we believe should be common
knowledge and common to see on campus here
each and every day. After all, the one thing that
makes us human is the virtues of good manners,
courtesy, politeness and respect.

Through information, education, and practice our
ambition is to ensure that everyone at ISC Dubai
embodies the core values of manners, and how
manners make us who we are.
