Right to Refuse Unsafe Work
▪ If you have reasonable cause to believe that to carry out any
work would create an undue hazard to the health and safety of
any person, you have the right to refuse that work.
▪ You must immediately report unsafe conditions to your
Supervisor. If your report is valid, you will be assigned
temporary work and provided with copy of investigation.
Employee • Assigned temporary work
• Provided with copy of investigation
• Participates in formal investigation led by HSE
Supervisor Representative or the JHSC
• Eliminates danger
• Provides copy of investigation to employee
