THE TROUBLE WITH HEROD





                As the king was delivering his speech



                                        the people shouted:



               1) He was a god



               2) Begged for mercy, i.e., forgiveness


               3) Vowed to honor him as a god




                   At no time, did Agrippa openly slap


                                               them on the wrist



                               or discard their praise of him.



                               And that was his mistake.
