Remember when Miriam and Aaron spoke

against Moses in Numbers 12.

Moses never tried to defend himself.

God heard their murmurings,

and he called Miriam and Aaron to come forward.

The two of them were rebukedaudibly

by the Lord. But only one became leprous

for seven days. Why?

It was because she was the ringleader,

i.e., the initiator.
