The human body is truly incredible. To
deepen student understanding of the human
body Anatomy and Physiology is a year-
long course that investigates the human
body’s structure and its functions. The
course will examine the structure and
function of major body systems including
the skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine,
circulatory, lymphatic, integumentary,
digestive, respiratory, urinary and
reproductive systems. This class connects
these systems to exercise, focusing on how
each system responds during exercise and
how the body adapts to regular training.
The P.A.C. 11-12 is an elective semester
course offered to varsity athletes seriously
interested in strength training and
plyometrics. This course can be used as an
elective class. The course will offer an
intense workout for males and females who
are extremely dedicated to becoming faster
and stronger to improve their athletic
performance. The course will offer
programs for off-season and in-season
conditioning. Students will strength train
three times per week. Each student will be
pre-tested, have a mid-term test and a post-
term test at the conclusion of the program.
This course would be excellent for those
athletes who are involved in more than a
varsity sport. This course may NOT be used
