Guiding questions for country presentations
Going beyond the first country presentations on business etiquette…
• How is “your” country described through the metaphor?
• Give information on what it would be like (which challenges to
expect) if you were to do your exchange year in that country:
• what will classes look like?
• what will teamwork with local Students be like?
• other things (e.g. looking for flats, going out, etc.)?
• How are these descriptions related to Hofstede’s cultural
dimensions when compared with Spain/France or you home
countries?
Use the provided readings and look for additional information online
and in alternative sources.
