Dear Mother
Sun rise, with surprise, how it tries,
To be wise, in disguise, to advise.
Through its eyes, my soul flies, which never lies, Which then implies, not to cry, yet arise.
Blue sky, held high, I do sigh,
As I fly by, nearby, but why?
Why do thy cry dear sky?
Do not lie, yet do not pry dear sky.
Majestic tree, you inspire to be, strong yet free,
How you see, you see me, yet confused are we.
Are you a he? A she? I do not know maybe,
Is there a fee, mysterious as the sea, oh, how your mystery fills me with glee.
Stars so bright, shine in the night, oh what a sight,
That mysterious light, on that height, whom share their might.
Doing what's right, here at this site, cause not a freight,
Those stars and their plight, keeping quite tight, yet why do we fight?
So, mother of peace, the ultimate piece, golden as fleece,
Mother oh please, do not cease, yet do not seize.
For man's soul is at free, a turned page like a crease, for man surely cares least,
Oh mother, hear my pleas, do not flee, for the beauty of nature will continue with me.

Bug Bites
I used to sleep soundly every night,
Comforted by the silky sheets and fluffy pillows. Sweet dreams were always common.
But now I lay awake in terror,
Frightened by the unwanted visitors Crawling deep into my twisted thoughts.
Now the Bed Bugs really do bite.
