Senior Year
The next big step awaits.
Prepare to say goodbye,
To the place and people you know. Only days to go.
A two-digit number,
Dwindling down.
You think the time will slowly drag,
Before you know it you’ll be packing your bag.
The textbooks are returned,
Your locker is cleared.
Tomorrow is the day you anticipated and feared.
Suddenly it’s over,
With a handshake and applause.
Tears stream down your face,
As you move on from your favorite place.
Thanks for the memories.
Thanks for the friends.
Thanks for being the place with so many hidden gems.

School
More like preschool
We are travellers
On our journey through school
To a better life
More freedom
Less money
Time to manage
Sorry mom no time to visit Time to grow up

The Last Leg
Here they come around the turn Each of ‘em, Side by Side
With eachother Stride for Stride
The winner, we are sure gonna learn
Only a couple more to go
The champion is not at all clear People in the crowd are full of fear Everything’s at stake, they both know
How could they possibly wear the same jersey Here they are one final time
Every race it’s been quite sublime
Who ever it is, They both will be glee.
