Brothers
Through thick and thin we’ve been together. I’ve always had your back, always and forever. This sport has brought us to defend,
Our brothers on this team until the end.
We will not be broken by an opponent, It’s our time to live in the moment.
We give everyday our all,
Just to be “The boys of fall.”
Everything we have is each other,
from now until the end we are brothers.

Small
As the tiniest little essence,
Who can fit in the smallest kind of nook. I can dance in the Ladybug’s presence,
I can sleep on a single word in a book.
I am here when the big orange leaves fall. Riding on one as it smacks onto the ground, I laugh and jump and crawl,
Nearly buried by the older leaves all around.
I am here in the cold, unforgiving bite of winter, Huddled up with a hibernating beast.
In a hole in a tree in the blizzard,
I cannot help but feel at ease.
In a Nutshell, Taylor Roff `17
I can drink the dew drop of the morning,
I can kick a blueberry as if it were a ball. Mice and rabbits give me warnings,
They like to protect me because I’m so small.
My voice is softer than a whisper,
Few can hear what I have to say.
My hair is thinner than a whisker,
and as golden as a bright summer day.
Whenever you need a friend sitting on your shoulder, When you’re lost or don’t know what to do, Remember that as you’re getting older
I will be right here, protecting you
