A Heart’s Thoughts
What is a heart? Well, a heart is something that cares. Something that won’t stare. Something that will always be there. A heart is stubborn, beating away until it inevitably passes one day. A heart has no limit, it can soar like a dove. And any heart can be full of love. A heart is something we all have, but don’t all use. It is something you shouldn’t abuse. A heart is something that gives you life, so don’t let it be full of strife. A heart is something that makes you care, something that makes you self-aware. But beware! A heart can become weary. Don’t let your heart
get dreary. It already has so much to carry. Instead, let it be full of hope. And if it's hard at first, you’ll learn to cope. Be open to change, go outside your range. It isn’t strange, just rearrange. If you don’t take care of your heart,
who will? Stay safe, be bright, and
please don’t be blue.
