Student-Athletes Prepare Christmas Meals
for the Hungry Several dozen student-athletes celebrated Christmas in a di erent way. Tom Goebel ’78 invited them to volunteer, alongside hundreds of others, to make traditional holiday meals available for the less
fortunate. Padua students, parents, coaches, teachers, and administrators gathered at Maverick Volleyball Club in Parma, which was temporarily
transformed into a food distribution center. ey spent several hours on December 23 and on Christmas morning packing 13,000 hot and cold meals,
which were served at churches, soup kitchens, hunger centers and by home delivery all across Northeast Ohio.
Padua Helmet Club

Chris Zanotti ’77 stepped forward as Helmet Club director, in conjunction with the Padua Athletic Department and administration. Here are some events that the Helmet Club will be sponsoring over the next few months:
