Lady Bruin Alumni Basketball Event
ank you to those who cheered on our Lady Bruins vs. Walsh Jesuit on February 4. e evening started with a social. At half time, we celebrated two of the rst female athletes to be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame: Heather (Longar) Barber ‘89 and Tracy (Tabaczynski) Shuman ‘97.

Hall of Fame Honors
10 New Inductees in 2016
In October, more than 175 guests gathered at Carrie Cerino’s Ristorante in North Royalton to honor our esteemed 2016 Hall of Fame Award Recipients. e Hall of Fame was established to recognize those individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the success of Padua. Nominees are recognized in the areas of athletics, service, and volunteerism; success in their eld of work; and community leadership. President Fr. Allan DaCorte, ofm, and Coach Chuck Priefer presented each honoree with a personalized bronze plaque. e plaques will hang in the main hallway of Padua, along with those of previous Hall of Fame recipients.
e Hall of Fame is held every two years, with the next induction ceremony scheduled for the fall of 2018. If you are interested in serving on the selection committee, please contact the O ce of Institutional Advancement at 440-845-8224. e new nomination process will begin in September of 2017; please watch for information posted on the Padua website.
