White Christmas Musical
cheer to their beloved former general, built to one of the most heart-warming moments in our program’s recent history. In the musi- cal’s climax, members of the U.S. 151st Division, veterans of World War II, traveled out to Pine Tree Vermont to pay tribute to General Waverly to make sure he knew how much
he was loved, honored,
and remembered, even ten years a er the war.
To accomplish this feat of nostalgia and sentimentality, nearly 20 Padua theatre alumni,
spanning over 14 years of productions, responded to our invitation and returned to pay their own tribute to long-time vocal coach and music director Jared Plasterer, who performed the general’s role. e e ect was timeless: familiar faces of Bruins returning home for the holidays, nearly doubling the chorus in number and sound, singing “We’ll Follow the Old Man” to a man responsible for inspiring almost two generations of performers.

Over 1,400 people joined us for an enchanting weekend full of song and dance, comedy, misunderstandings, romance and
Christmas spirit as we staged one of the most beloved holiday favorites of all time.
