Student Wins Cleveland Clinic eXpressions Award 2018
Sophomore Paige Ray ’20 received an honorable men- tion for her poem entitled “Tender,” which she entered in the Cleveland Clinic eXpressions Language Competition. Roughly 1,700 art, language, and math projects from 61 schools were submitted in the fall of 2017.
In recognition for Paige’s hard work and talent, the Cleveland Clinic will be featuring her work on their website and in
a catalogue of all the award-winning submissions.  ey will also be displaying her work in their annual Cleveland Clinic eXpressions Art, Language and Math eXhibition, which opened on  ursday, February 15, 2018 at the Global Center for Health Innovation in Cleveland.
About Cleveland Clinic’s eXpressions Program: eXpressionsTM is a free, award-winning educational initiative that engages middle and high school students in the creative exploration of science and medicine.  rough project-based, peer-to-peer learning, students translate research studies conducted by Cleveland Clinic summer interns, producing artistic, literary, and mathematical interpretations of the science.
     Elementary Art Show 2018
Congratulations to all of the
students who participated in
Padua’s annual Elementary Art
Show on Sunday, January 14, 2018.
Sixteen local schools submitted entries for
students in grades kindergarten through 8. Padua students enrolled in upper level art classes critiqued and judged the submissions. Four students in each grade level received awards (for  rst place, second, third and honorable mention). A er the event, the works of art were on display in our Library for two weeks.
Padua has sponsored and hosted the art show for local elementary schools for nearly 30 years.
