Waikato Cherry Tree Festival
English Cherry Tree Manor, Hamilton, Waikato
From Friday 20 till Sunday 29 September 2019 starting 9am to 5pm
Celebrate the arrival of spring in a multicultural carnival setting. This
year the event is even bigger and offers new multicultural
entertainment as well as old favourites like stilt walkers, Japanese
drummers, Chinese fan dancers and kapa haka performances, and
activities for the kids like face painting, pony rides and bubble
blowing.
Secondhand Book Fair
Waiuku Memorial Town Hall
Saturday 7 September & Sunday 8 September starting 8:30am
There will be 1000’s of cheap books, with prices ranging from $1 to
$4/$5. A special children’s section will be set up with prices from
50cents. There will also be 100's of DVD's, LP's and Jigsaws. In
effect, something to suit all tastes!
Otahuhu Food Festival
Street Festival Great South Road, Otahuhu, Auckland
Saturday 28 September starting 10:00am till 4:00pm
The Otahuhu Food Festival is a family friendly street food festival with
stalls, trucks and caravans loaded with food from around the world
lining the Great South Road in Otahuhu, Auckland. With 150x food
stalls, that's over 500mtrs food, making the Otahuhu Food Festival
Auckland’s biggest street food festival. They have a kid’s zone with
lots of cool activities for the kids including face painting, balloon
artistry, bouncy castles and more.
