Life
After
Work..
Many of us could live for 30 years after stopping work. How do
you prepare for this next stage of your life? Brenda Ward (from
Juno Investing) asks the experts how to get ready to give up work.
ADVENTURE BEFORE DEMENTIA
Many of us have a list of activities we’ve always wanted to do, a
“bucket list”. Why wait?? Why not plan to do them now instead, and
adjust our current spending behaviour so that we can, suggests Lynda
Moore.
“When we’re in our 40’s or even our 50’s, we think when we stop
working fulltime, we’re going to want - and be able - to do all those
activities that we haven’t done yet.
“Don’t put it off until too late - you may find that your body cant keep
up with you.”
If you do want to travel, renovate or buy a campervan, tell your
financial adviser, she says. They can help you work out the numbers.
