Focus Area

Goal 4: Increase postvention efforts.

Individuals are affected after a death by suicide. Florida communities and
groups respond to and care for individuals affected by a death by suicide
with postvention efforts by reducing risks and promoting healing.

Strategy 4.1 Implement postvention training in the workplace.

Action 4.1.1 By December 2021, increase the number of state agencies that adopt A
Items Manager’s Guide to Suicide Postvention in the Workplace from zero to five.
