Thank you to Kori Jahrling Malouin, BCO, BADO for her assistance with this
Journal and for indexing the past articles. I have enjoyed working with her
and appreciate the time and effort she has contributed.
I wish the next generation success and I hope the spirit of sharing ideas and
collaborating with colleagues continues, just like Joe LeGrand, Sr., set out
to do with the first publication of Today’s Ocularist. The position of senior
editor is a rewarding job. Ensuring the validity of content and upholding
standards of writing allows this journal to continue to educate and expand
to the scientific community. The world is changing fast and we will continue
to change with it.

I will end with a quote from Joe LeGrand, Sr. “As senior editor, the editorials
all contain the same common thread, start with good news about the
current ASO accomplishments, lots of optimism about where we are going
and plea for commitment and involvement from the members.”
