Senior Services
Craven County Senior Services offers a wide variety of recreational activities at their three locations.
All locations are open Monday through Friday except for county holidays. Lunch is provided each weekday at all three sites. A variety of social activities and educational programs accompany the lunch service.

Seniors and Caregivers can benefit from a variety of
programs in our area.
Meals on Wheels
Home delivered meals are distributed each weekday to approximately 170 older adults. To be eligible, an individual must be at least 60 years of age and basically unable to prepare
a nutritious meal for his or herself. For more details and/or to apply, contact the Meals on Wheels Office at 252-638-1790.
Health Promotion Programs
Educational seminars, exercise classes, yoga, arts and crafts, and special programs for the visually impaired and hard of hearing are available to individuals at least 60 years of age.
Volunteer Programs
Opportunities are available to help older
adults and other members of the community stay active. Volunteers deliver meals to the homebound, help serve food at congregate meal sites, lead recreational programs, and help with special events.
