New Bern residents look forward to the Light Up the Season! annual event each year, which kicks off all the Beary Merry Christmas festivities. Santa will be welcomed amidst thousand of lights, and his house will open to kids of all ages. Festivities run between 4:00pm–7:00pm with music, dancing, and crafts for children.
