Area Parks
There’s lots of room to play for young and old alike in Kent County, Dover, and Milford area parks!
Saulsbury Park
2.7 acres South Saulsbury Rd. This beautiful park area provides
more than 2.5 acres of open area for families to enjoy. A great setting for an afternoon of ball playing, frisbee throwing, or enjoying a picnic.
Schutte Park

Electric Ave. and North St.
One of Dover’s newest parks.
Four lighted softball fields and a multipurpose field makes this park a very popular place for athletes. Many camps and tournaments are held here throughout the year.
The Green

The Green is an historical park located near the Courthouse
and State House. Special events are held here throughout the
year. Benches and beautiful old trees shade this historic site. It is within walking distance to stores, restaurants, and other historic sites in the capital city.

Constitution Park
.2 acre North and South State Sts.
This mini park features a 12- foot bronze quill on a 4-foot cube inscribed with the U.S. Constitution. Take a short walk from The Green to visit this historic monument.
Dover and New Streets Park

A 4+ acre park conveniently located in a residential area
with a lighted softball field, basketball court, playground area equipment, and more.
Dover Park

28 acres of beautiful hardwood, holly, and pine trees with plenty of open space to enjoy a leisurely walk or jog through the park. Tennis courts, a softball field, basketball courts, multipurpose field, disc golf course, and playground equipment.
Memorial Park
4.6 acres Park Dr.
One of the most popular sites for weddings and taking special occasion photographs. This park has a landscaped monument dedicated to our fallen Firefighters with benches and is lighted at night.
Richardson Park
1 acre Walker Rd. and S. State St.
Plenty of shade trees and a wonderful view of the lake, and provides a nice place for a picnic.
