We are on the train heading South West, hot on the trail of our fiend when we
hear that the train is terminating at Exeter due to a fallen cliff between the towns
of Dawlish and Teignmouth.
We stop off at my den of iniquity, hidden in plain sight of The Customs House on
the Quay and pick up my team of reprobates. Opting to use my boat moored from my
recent travels, we navigate around the coast line.
Sophie, my Governess, informs me that to fund the trip she has taken a commission
to deliver an inventory of animals to a Herbert Whitley for a new zoological collection
on his estate in Paignton. Accordingly, she has packed the ship with a magnificent
menagerie.
We have a surprise last minute passenger, none other than the quite wonderfully
beautiful lady, Lillie Langtry. We set sail on the high tide with storm clouds brewing
