On March 27 , the Human Resources Department collaborated with the Information Technology Department
(ITD) to facilitate a two-hour presentation to IT major students from MPC during their annual Internship Fair
week. Lead by Chief Information Officer, Eric Chatham, staff from ITD highlighted and discussed their own
personal career paths. After ITD’s presentation, Michael Rosales from the HRD provided an overview of the
County’s Internship Program and highlighted current internship opportunities. As practical experience,
students were also able to follow Michael through the process of creating an internship profile and completing
an internship application. The 25 students who attended this presentation were delighted to create their
profile and apply for current internship opportunities. Below are a few pictures taken at the event:
