I’m reminded of a very good book ”Gardens of Plenty” by Marylyn Abbot which demonstrates how the kitchen
garden can become both a practical and aesthetically pleasing attribute in the garden. I’ve tried to apply this
approach in our own kitchen garden which is a productive place, an interesting design and also a peaceful spot to

relax and enjoy the stunning countryside views. I’m sure Marylyn must have gained some of her inspiration from
Villandry. The chateau and gardens are just awesome. The kitchen (potager) gardens are vast and beautifully art

directed. Our Kitchen Garden solutions are most certainly influenced by these great gardens and wherever possible
we will incorporate design elements, plus provide planting advice and complementary planting as required.
