Let’s get Personal…

Activity: Have you ever noticed that food that is kept for a while begins to rot and decay? You can no
longer eat it when it goes bad. It will make you sick. Sometimes people can take meat and put salt on it
to preserve it to last longer. You can put vegetables in a jar and can them to make them last a long time.
This process of making food last longer is the process of preservation. To preserve something, we are
attempting to make it last as long as possible.

God has promised to preserve His Word. How long has he promised to preserve it?

Why do you suppose it was so important to God to preserve His Word for us today?
