6.5 Let’s Personalize this Lesson…
                           Activity:  Have you ever noticed that food that is kept for a while begins to rot and decay?
                           You can no longer eat it when it goes bad.  It will make you sick.  Sometimes people can
                           take meat and put salt on it to preserve it to last longer.  You can put vegetables in a jar
                           and can them to make them last a long time.  This process of making food last longer is the
                           process of preservation.  To preserve something, we are attempting to make it last as long
               as possible.

               God has promised to preserve His Word.  How long has he promised to preserve it?

               Why do you suppose it was so important to God to preserve His Word for us today?
