Activity: Did you know that Jesus was probably not born on December 25 ? In fact, there is some good

evidence that He was born in March. Do some research on the internet and see if you can come up with
an accurate date of His birth. HINT: Start with the announcement of the birth of John. When was
Zacharias ministering in the temple? If Elizabeth got pregnant soon after that announcement, and Mary
visited her in her sixth month, and Mary was newly pregnant at the time of her visit to Elizabeth’s house,
then you should be able to trace a time in the year that Jesus was born. HINT 2: It takes 9 months after
conception to have a baby. Compare your results to the time of His triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
