Biblical events that occurred on the exact day of the feast. Two feasts have yet a future fulfillment. One
feast, called the Feast of Trumpets, is a feast that remembers the coming of Israel before the Lord at
Mount Saini and the Lord presenting Himself to His people. The trumpets of this feast are an
announcement of the Lord’s gathering of His people. Wouldn’t it be interesting that since the Feasts
were all a rehearsal of what God was going to do in the future, and God’s fulfillment of each rehearsal
happened on the exact day of each feast, that the Feast of Trumpets may be the exact day the coming of
the Lord? The Bible says no man knows the day or hour, so we cannot be certain of any day, but it is an
interesting thought.
Let’s Practice …
1. In what ways can we see God significantly involved in the flow of history?
2. How has God used history to demonstrate who He is?
3. Describe the future event called the rapture.
4. After the rapture, what then will happen in future history?
5. At the conclusion of a seven-year period, what will happen?
6. Why is this event significant in the history of nations?
Let’s get Personal …
Activity: The Bible says that any day soon, Jesus Christ could come in the clouds to take His church to be
with him. That is called the rapture of the church. Describe ways in your life where you anticipate this
event. How are you getting ready for it? How has the Lord’s soon coming changed the way you live?
