14.5 Let’s Personalize this Lesson…
Activity: The god of Islam is a god of wrath. He gets upset if people do not obey him. But the
God of the Bible is a God of love. His wrath and judgment are often delayed simply because of
His patience and love for the sinner. II Peter says that “God is not willing that any perish, but
that all come to repentance.”
Considering our sinful ways, I am so thankful that God is a God of love and infinite mercy. If not for
these attributes of God, we would all be in big trouble. But God is a God of justice and He deals with sin.
Fortunately for the believer, He paid the penalty for our sin by laying our sin on Jesus who shed His
perfect blood as our sacrifice. Aren’t you thankful for God’s mercy?
