Activity: Consider that an idol may be a computer or a book or a car or a house. An idol can be
even another person. Idols are anything that takes God’s place for attention in our lives. It is
those persons or things that we think about and that consume our time and energies. Do you
have any idols in your life that God has made you aware of? If so, list them here and determine
how they can be relegated to their proper position in your life.
